About The Blessing Fund
The Blessing Fund was started by Laurie Marks Vincent. She is the director of a Christian Women's Group. At past women's events or through the Women's online group, the ladies would give donations that could be of assistance for those who are in urgent need in the community. The group has been doing this since 2008. It's been exciting to see the changes and assistance that brings relief to people in need through The Blessing Fund over a number of years. Now, the Blessing Fund is growing to meet greater needs as the demands have become greater for those in need.
Laurie and The Blessing Fund are both departments of ACT International, a fully licensed and registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization, since 1973) located in Brentwood Tennessee. ACT International provides an umbrella for charitable work so that people are mobilized to fulfill a mission and purpose to help others as a department of ACT International. .
Often the needs we are assisting are urgent. Sometimes it means running a fundraising campaign because there isn't enough in the funds to cover that specific urgent need.
